ISLAMIC WORLD ORDER

It is hoped that you will be fine and will be busy in building your own life and lives of others according to the sayings of Allah and the Holy Prophet (SAW). We pray that Allah Almighty may enable you to serve the people more and more. (Amen)

Dear Muslims! You know that to eliminate all kinds of vices from the world and to promote good is the responsibility of every Muslim. Allah, the Lord of the universe, says: "You are the best Ummah who have been created to show the right path to the people. You command for doing good and forbid from doing evil, and you have faith in Allah"

The Holy Prophet (SAW) has also said that everyone amongst you is a caretaker and is responsible for his subordinates on the Day of Judgement. Rulers will be answerable for the citizens of their state, every family head will be accountable for the members of his family and will be asked as to what he did for their reformation, education and better life. He will be asked as to whether he forbid them from adopting the bad ways, and helped them in leading a pious life or not. The Holy Quran has called this task as "Enjoining (People) To Do Good and Forbidding (Them) From Doing Evil."

Respected Muslims! The world history reveals that until Muslims performed the task of commanding the people to do good and barring them from doing evil, the pious people remained dominant in those societies and there was peace and tranquillity and satanic forces were subdued. But, when this collective responsibility was designated only to clerics, and the common Muslims ignored this task, inspite of the efforts of the clerics, waywardness spread quickly. A wave of offenses, terrorism, tyranny, evils, sins, ignorance and anarchy engulfed almost every segment of life. Disorder, commotion and chaos were on the rise in the world society, wrecking the peace of all mankind.

The current era has become the worst period of the history of conduct and character of mankind. Terrorists, liars, cheats, and wily people are dominating. Scoundrels, rogues, and lechers are at large. Obscenity, vulgarity, immorality, bribery and corruption are order of the day. Use of drugs are going on without any check. Songs and dances responsible for spreading immorality are sneaking into each and every house through the mass media. Rebels, who repudiate the commands and teachings of God are labeling themselves as progressive, broad-minded and liberals. The mass media is making fun of the Divine religions. The acts declared illegitimate by God Almighty and all the prophets are being proclaimed as legitimate. People are being invoked to lead sinful lives, so much so that good is being curbed and evil is being spread by force. In short, a majority of the people in this world have deviated from the right path and are on way to hell without any check or hindrance and the life of people has itself become irksome.

The Holy Prophet (SAW) has warned of this danger in these words:

"I swear to the Lord Who is the Master of my soul (it is your duty that) you must enjoin (the people) to do good and forbid (them) from doing evil, otherwise, the day is not far when Allah Almighty will unleash His wrath on you, and then you will pray (for help) to Allah, but your prayers will not be answered." (Trimdi)

Experiences have proved that the societies whose members stop performing the task of persuading the people to do good and forbidding them from doing evil, or limit the duty to a specific group of the society, sooner or later, face destruction and devastation. Unfortunately, the present world generation is witnessing this catastrophe and disaster these days.

The responsibility of enjoining the people to do good and forbidding them from doing evil, rests with clerics as well as teachers, politicians, rulers, traders, industrialists, the rich, government servants, i.e. the people belonging to all walks of life. But, in the present world society, this task has been left to religious scholars only. No doubt, most of the clerics are trying to perform their duty to some extent, but we are suffering from the consequences of the delinquent attitude of teachers, politicians, rulers, traders, industrialists and government servants and people of other walks of life.

The "Islamic World Order" requires from the Muslims hailing from every walk of life to perform their duty of enjoining (people) to do good and forbidding (them) from doing evil. Like every other Muslim you are also responsible for commanding the people to do good and forbidding them from doing evil.

How You Can Perform This Duty

1. You can perform this task by assembling the people of your area or your friends and relatives at some place for a few minutes whenever possible. Ask few from among the audience to express their views on enjoining (people) to do good and forbid (them) from doing evil. You will see that this program of a small duration will cause a big change. The atmosphere will improve and the way of evils will be blocked. Those wayward people, who are a cause of nuisance and trouble for the community, will also adopt the right path. Rather, especially invite these wayward people to your programs and try to involve them in also delivering speeches in the meetings so that they may be modified.

This brief act of yours will turn these perverts of society from the darkness of infidelity and ignorance towards the light of knowledge and a pious life. This would also increase the strength of the people who realize the objective of their lives and want to lead a pious life and also wish to see piousness in the world society. In this way, slowly but steadily, a big majority of people will be prepared who want to see the world society devoid of every kind of terrorism, corruption, tyranny, crime, vice, nudity, vulgarity, immorality, smuggling, gambling, drinking, wicked dances and other types of evils and offenses. The dream of establishing a peaceful and prosperous society in the world will come true in this way…. if Allah wishes so.

2. Try to establish small libraries in your localities on self-help basis. These libraries should contain books on religious and moral teachings, which can be taken to homes for study purposes and for the preparation of speeches in the gatherings. Such books should be selected that infuse faith in Allah and a thought for the world hereafter among the readers, which inform them about the objectives and advantages of enjoining (the people) to do good and forbidding (them) from doing evil, which create sympathies among them for each other, which nourish the courage to avoid evils and to lead a pious life, which will make them save the society from corruption, vices, vulgarity and other sins and motivate them to deliver better religious and moral education to their loved ones. These books should also enable the readers to differentiate between the legitimate and illegitimate deeds as per the teachings of Holy Quran and Sunnah.

A "LIST" of virtues and evils is available to select the topics for the convenience of the people who have to speak at the gatherings.

We hope that you will give full attention for the establishment of a true "Islamic World Order" and ensure its implementation.

May God give you courage and strength to perform this basic duty of every Muslim.
