How It Works
Carbonite is a small application that you download onto your PC. After installation:
- Carbonite searches for new and changed files when your PC is idle.
- It securely transfers and saves an encrypted copy of the files to a remote data center.
- If you encounter an issue with your PC, you'll be able to select which file or files you'd like to restore by clicking the "Carbonite Backup Drive" icon on your desktop.
